Bridging Web2 Users into Blockchain with Seamless UX
Betting is a high-engagement industry, making it an ideal gateway to introduce users to blockchain. However, complex crypto wallets and confusing transaction flows often deter new users. Our design challenge was to abstract these complexities, ensuring that users can interact with the platform intuitively, whether they are using M-Pesa (fiat) or a crypto wallet.
Maximizing Winnings Through a Transparent, User-Controlled System
Traditional betting platforms control odds and take high commissions, reducing user earnings. SoloBet’s peer-to-peer model needed a UX that clearly shows how users set odds and bet directly with each other—eliminating middlemen. This required a well-structured betting flow, easy-to-read odds, and clear visual indicators of potential payouts.
Building Trust Through Transparency
Many bettors distrust traditional platforms due to hidden fees, delayed payouts, and odds manipulation. SoloBet’s decentralized nature solves this, but good design is key to making trust tangible. Our UI emphasizes real-time bet tracking, instant payout confirmations, and a clear audit trail via blockchain integration, reinforcing transparency.
Empowering Professional Gamers with a Monetization Platform
Pro gamers in Africa often lack sustainable revenue streams. SoloBet’s Gamer’s Lounge introduces a Play-to-Earn model, where users can bet on matches or be staked by others. The challenge was to design an intuitive interface for match listings, staking, and tracking player earnings, ensuring that both casual users and pro gamers can seamlessly interact with the system.

To drive blockchain adoption, SoloBet offers low to zero commission charges for bets placed via crypto wallets, reducing fees and encouraging users to bet on-chain. The challenge lies in making this experience feel frictionless, ensuring that crypto and fiat transactions are equally intuitive.
Simplifying Crypto Usage Through UI/UX Optimization
Crypto complexity is a major barrier to entry. To bridge Web2 and Web3, we designed a smooth onboarding flow, allowing users to deposit fiat (e.g., via M-Pesa), which is automatically converted to ETH via smart contracts. Users transact in crypto without even realizing it, ensuring accessibility without requiring deep blockchain knowledge.
